The First Graders had a wonderful experience this morning visiting the Dearborn Historical Museum. Ms. Bernice talked to us about what it was like to go to school in the early 1900's. We wrote on real slate boards with slate pencils. We heard about all the chores children were expected to do before and after school. We visited the house on the property...no heat, no lights, no running water, and NO TV!!! We have much to be thankful for!
