Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministers are the "After People".  They come alongside a hurting person after a loved one has died, after the divorce papers have been served, after the layoff or forced retirement, after the cancer diagnosis is given. 

Stephen Ministers provide people with one-to-one, Christ-centered care and support for as long after as they are needed. 

Each Stephen Minister at Guardian has received over fifty hours of training to meet the needs of our Church.  However, Stephen Ministers are not counselors.  They are fellow Christians who just want to be there when they are needed.  Stephen Ministers do not replace the Pastor. They supplement the Pastor's work and allow us to see more people with more care.
