School Groups

Guardian Lutheran School is blessed with a number of wonderful group programs to offer to our families and those in the community around us. We have something for everyone, and invite you to find a group that might offer you a chance to connect. Some of our active group programs are:

PARENT TEACHER LEAGUE (PTL)

The Guardian Lutheran PTL exists to enrich and enhance the Guardian experience for students, staff, and parents. We are a very active group of parents who work to continually improve the school experience for our students. We also ensure that our staff, especially the teachers, are recognized and appreciated  on a regular basis for their constant hard work and dedication. The PTL Board meets once each month to discuss upcoming initiatives and exchange ideas for school improvement. Contact Rob Seeley to talk about ideas, interest, or feedback on past events.

MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS (MOPS)

MOPS is an international organization which was formed to nurture mothers of preschoolers by meeting their distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ.  The Guardian MOPS group meets from September through May, typically on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month.  It is a wonderful opportunity for mothers to participate in a caring ministry where friendships, creativity and personal relationships with Jesus Christ can develop.  For more information on Guardian's MOPS group, please visit the MOPS page.

CUB SCOUTS

Guardian is home-base for Cub Scout Pack 1136.  As part of the Detroit Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, our group of young boys and their parents are always on the move!  For more information on Pack 1136 and their activities, check out the Cub Scouts page.

SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY

Part of our worship life at Guardian is focused on getting into the Word of God in small, more intimate groups.  Our Small Group Ministry has over 25 small groups that meet on a regular basis to study scripture and other topical studies.  Please see the Small Groups page for more information and available resources.

MEN'S MINISTRY

Men of all ages are invited to the Men's Ministry monthly bible study. Come, join us for spiritual growth, fellowship, and opportunities to serve Guardian. The 2011 schedule can be found on the Men's Ministry page.
