Mr. Hoeft graduated from Concordia College, Ann Arbor in 1999 with a B.A. in Elementary Education, double-minoring in Math and English, and a Lutheran Teacher Diploma. He taught 7th & 8th grades and served as Athletic Director for one year at Peace Lutheran in Warren, MI, 9 years at Hosanna-Tabor Lutheran in Redford, MI, and 13 years at Concordia Lutheran in Redford. He is also the chairman of the Western Lutheran Athletic League (WLAL). He has coached many middle school and high school sports throughout the years as well.
Mr. Hoeft is married to Rebekah (Kindergarten teacher at St. Michael Lutheran, Wayne) and has 2 children - Audra and Simon. Audra (19) graduated from Lutheran High Westland ('22) and is in her second year at Eastern Michigan University. Simon (16) is a junior at Lutheran High Westland.
He loves sports including his hometown Detroit teams and the University of Michigan. He is also an avid golfer - he loves to hit the links whenever he can.
Mr. Hoeft looks forward to developing new and great relationships with the families at Guardian and sharing the love of Christ with his students.
