TECHNOLOGY

Students at Guardian use Chromebooks to participate in lessons and complete assignments.  Students in grades 5-8 purchase a device or bring their own to use at school and home.  Students in grades 1-4 use school provided Chromebooks at school.  All classrooms in grades K-8 are equipped with projectors and SMART-interactive whiteboards to enhance the learning process. 

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

In addition to being academically stimulating, Guardian offers many programs and extracurricular activities to help our students discover and develop their unique talents and gifts as given by God.  A wide variety of sports (Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Soccer,Track, and Volleyball) and music programs (Choir, Handbell Choir and All School Musical/Fine Arts Festival) are open to all eligible students. We also have a number of after school club offerings for all students Kindergarten through grade 8.

Before & After School Care

For families that require additional care for their children, we offer excellent before and after school programs for students in full day kindergarten through eighth grade. Before School Care is available beginning at 7:00 a.m.. Our after school program "Cougar Care" is available beginning at 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Busing

Resident students who live more than 1.5 miles from school are eligible for busing services. Please contact (313) 827-3200 for more information.

Hot Lunch

Guardian offers students the opportunity to purchase a hot lunch prepared onsite by our own food service department every school day. For families in financial need, we also offer reduced price hot lunch for those who qualify.
