Allison McCollister

Mrs. McCollister has been teaching for 37 years, with 32 of those in Lutheran schools. She has taught grades 1-8, but most of her career has been 3rd and 4th grade. She has previously been a yearbook and student council advisor. She received her B.A. in Elementary Education from Concordia University, Ann Arbor, and has done further study at Eastern Michigan University. She is married to Rich, and they are the happy companions to 3 dogs. She enjoys spending time with family, as well as RV traveling, reading (especially anything related to history), decorative painting, NASCAR, and music.
Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11-13 which says: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”
